Terör, Türkiye’de 80’li yıllarda ortaya çıkmış ve günümüzde de devam eden bir sorundur. Terörün adı ve türü sürekli olarak değişmektedir. Fakat terördeki bu değişim terörün etkisini azaltmamakta aksine giderek daha fazla zarara neden olmaktadır. Terörün ortadan kaldırılması adına yapılması gerekenleri hem devletler hem de toplumlar elinden geldiğince yapmaya çalışsa da terör dışardan desteklenmeye ve beslenmeye devam etmekte olduğu sürece tamamen ortadan kaldırılması giderek zorlaşmaktadır.
Özellikle Türkiye’nin en uzun sınır komşusu olan Suriye’de 15 Mart 2011’de başlayan iç savaş tüm dünyada ve komşuları içerisinde farklı alanlarda en çok Türkiye’yi etkilemiştir. Savaş olumsuz etkilerini; ekonomik, kültürel, toplumsal, güvenlik olmak üzere her alanda göstermiş ve göstermeye devam etmektedir. Bu çalışmamızda devam eden Suriye savaşının Türkiye deki terör olaylarına destek sağlamak suretiyle etki ettiği varsayımından yola çıkılmıştır. Bu varsayıma dayanarak Suriye savaşının 3. yılında Hatay’ın Reyhanlı ilçesinde gerçekleşen terör saldırısı ele alınmıştır. Araştırma örneklemi için Türk basınında terör olayının Suriye savaşı kaynaklı görülüp görülmediğini ortaya koyarak konunun öneminin görülmesi amaçlanmıştır.
Çalışma toplumun güvenliğini tehdit eden terör olayları ile Suriye savaşının arasındaki ilişkiyi ortaya koyabilmek açısından önem taşımaktadır. Türk basınında yer alan farklı ideolojilerde en yüksek tirajlara sahip olan 6 gazete inceleme için seçilmiş olup bu gazeteler olayın gerçekleştiği tarihten itibaren bir haftalık süreçte takip edilmiştir. Araştırmaya tabi tutulan gazeteler elde edilen bulguların daha sağlıklı sonuçlar verebilmesi amacıyla nicel ve nitel içerek analizi yöntemi kullanılarak çözümlenmiştir. Türk basınında yer alan haberlerin analizleri sonucunda görülmüştür ki Suriye savaşı Türkiye’de terörü tetikleyici unsurlardan biridir.

Abstract
Terrorism is a problem that emerged in Turkey in the 80s and continues today. The name and type of terrorism are constantly changing. However, this change in terrorism does not reduce the impact of terrorism, on the contrary, it causes more and more damage. Although both states and societies try to do as much as they can to eliminate terrorism, it becomes increasingly difficult to completely eliminate terrorism as long as it continues to be supported and fed from outside.
Particularly, the civil war that started on March 15, 2011 in Syria, which is Turkey's longest border neighbor, affected Turkey the most in different areas all over the world and among its neighbors. The negative effects of war; It has shown and continues to show in every field including economic, cultural, social and security. In this study, we set out from the assumption that the ongoing Syrian war affects terrorist incidents in Turkey by providing support. Based on this assumption, the terrorist attack that took place in the Reyhanlı district of Hatay in the 3rd year of the Syrian war was discussed. For the research sample, it was aimed to see the importance of the issue by revealing whether the terrorist incident was seen as originating from the Syrian war in the Turkish press.
The study is important in terms of revealing the relationship between terrorist incidents that threaten the security of society and the Syrian war. 6 newspapers with the highest circulations of different ideologies in the Turkish press were selected for analysis, and these newspapers were followed for a week from the date of the incident. The newspapers subject to the research were analyzed using the quantitative and qualitative content analysis method in order to provide more accurate results. As a result of the analysis of the news in the Turkish press, it has been seen that the Syrian war is one of the triggers for terrorism in Turkey.
