Özet
Bu çalışmada Türkiye’de ciddi bir sorun olarak duran kan davası konu edinilmiştir. Makalede Türkiye’nin Batman şehrinde kan davası nedeniyle işlenen bir cinayetin haberlerinin eleştirel söylem çözümlemesi yapılmıştır. Cumhuriyet, Hürriyet, Posta ve Yeni Şafak gazetelerinde yayımlanan haberlerin çözümlemesi sonunda, cinayetin hikâye anlatır gibi sunulduğu görülmüştür. Dilbilimsel kavramlar eşliğinde yapılan eleştirel söylem çözümlemesi, haberlerin söyleminde ideolojik üretim yapıldığını ortaya koymuştur. Bu türden çözümlemeler, Türkiye’de kan davası sorunun çözümlemesine katkı verebilir. Ama eleştirel söylem çözümlemesinin gelişmesine katkı vereceği kesindir.

Abstract
This article explores blood feud, which still appears to trouble Turkey. The paper carries out a critical discourse analysis of the news stories about a blood feud-related murder committed in Batman, Turkey. The analysis of the reports of the incident in Cumhuriyet, Hürriyet, Posta and Yeni Şafak newspapers shows that the murder was presented through a narrative. The critical discourse analysis done with the help of linguistic concepts indicates an ideology production in the newspapers’ discourse. Such analyses might add to the solution of the blood feud problem in Turkey, as well as making a clear contribution to the development of critical discourse analysis.
